This is beautiful! I love the transparency and how everything glows.
I thought the compound name was Salvinorin "A" instead of Salnivorin "Alpha"?

Oh thank you! I tried a new technique with multiple transparent layers I have seen other artists like Fabien Jimenez use. A is short for Alpha ;]

But there are Salvinorin A, B, C, ... F. The next one to B is C not gamma. I thought in chemistry alpha usually means something else, such as alpha-methyltryptamine

Really? I was only aware of Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta hmmm. I'll have to look into it more and get back to you. I need to do a lot more research about these medicines! -_-;;

Salvia acts on opioid receptors in the brain. Standard opiates like heroin antagonise mu-opiod receptors whereas salvia antagonises kappa-opioid receptors which are responsible for the hallucinatons (also the 'roller coaster' feeling). Just type salvia effects into google and you get loads of info to choose from ;)
